Limoux. Are we dreaming or is this for real?

With apologies for the delay due to our technicological ineptness and the confusion of learning where to go to fix the problem, I tell you our first 3 days in Limoux have been like a dream.  The drive here was spectacularly beautiful, many of the townsfolk were dancing the Tango on the Place du Republic (aka the town square) when we arrived on Sunday at 7 pm, our apartment is gorgeous and more than perfect, our landlords are incredibly welcoming and helpful, we've almost bought a car, we know where the grocery store is, and we are in the real France where few speak English and the tourists are rare. It feels like a dream that I never want to leave.

The first evening here, Sunday, as we sat on the square dining on the most fantastic omelette of my life before or hereafter, and cassoulet for Mac, as the people danced the Tango to music provided by another restaurant on the square, seemingly to welcome us, Mac remarked that it felt like we were in a French movie.  Even better.  It was real.

See the gallery for pictures of the views from some of the windows of our apartment.
